⚡️ My Journey from Stuttering to Professional Speaking

🔤 Description

My Journey from Stuttering to Professional Speaking

Larry Stein stuttered for 50 years, compromising his career and other parts of his life to avoid stuttering. After a few decades of stuttering severely, his speech improved quite a bit in his 30s and 40s due to speaking more in the workplace. Then, in his mid-50s, in an effort to save the business of his dreams, Larry made one last-ditch attempt to improve his speech.

Over the next two years:

  • relearned to speak

  • addressed the psychological impacts of his stuttering

  • took steps to take on speaking challenges that once paralyzed him

  • experienced the surprising impact in his personal and professional life

While not a perfect speaker, he has gained the confidence in his speech to build his dream business and speak professionally to business groups. He has a book about his journey with stuttering coming out in the fall.
